Foundations of Form UPDATED

The original version of the Foundations of Form course about the essentials of Linear Perspective was built to last only 2 weeks as an introduction to a semester course. Due to university time limits, it stopped with the “distorted” perspective exercise for students. Maybe not the most perfect point to leave off, but it makes a great point about the effects of perspective before moving onto more intensive…

Isometric Diorama Updated with Student Work!

For me…at least, seeing what’s possible for students that have gone through the exact same set of lectures, demos, activities, and projects really shows up when you see it in real student work.

These were all done by first semester freshmen in my intensive perspective course when I created this course for Ringling College of Art and Design. (A course that remains largely unchanged even though I’m no longer there!)

Now that a major personal project is effectively completed, I’m back working on the site!
