In this lesson you will apply what you’ve learned about perspective space to create perfectly square, repeating grids. You will also learn how to create a perfectly proportioned receding square anywhere in the perspective space. This may be the most important concept for creating convincing proportionate spaces in perspective.


  • create the space from memory
  • set up a measuring line that has 10 sections on each side, then create a grid.
  • set up a fresh 1 point perspective set up
  • create a 4 inch (9 cm) square in the right quadrant
